Surah Az-Zalzalah (Arabic: الزلزلة, "The Earthquake") is the 99th surah of the Quran. It is a Medinan surah of 8 verses, in juz 30, on page 599 of the 604-page Madina mushaf.

Surah Az-Zalzalah describes the great earthquake of the Day of Judgment and that every atom of good or evil will be shown.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. إِذَا زُلۡزِلَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ زِلۡزَالَهَا

    1

    Itha zulzilati alardu zilzalaha

  2. وَأَخۡرَجَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ أَثۡقَالَهَا

    2

    Waakhrajati alardu athqalaha

  3. وَقَالَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا

    3

    Waqala alinsanu ma laha

  4. يَوۡمَئِذٖ تُحَدِّثُ أَخۡبَارَهَا

    Yawmaithin tuhaddithu akhbaraha

  5. بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوۡحَىٰ لَهَا

    5

    Bianna rabbaka awha laha

  6. يَوۡمَئِذٖ يَصۡدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشۡتَاتٗا لِّيُرَوۡاْ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ

    Yawmaithin yasduru alnnasu ashtatan liyuraw aAAmalahum

  7. فَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيۡرٗا يَرَهُۥ

    7

    Faman yaAAmal mithqala tharratin khayran yarahu

  8. وَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٖ شَرّٗا يَرَهُۥ

    Waman yaAAmal mithqala tharratin sharran yarahu
