Surah At-Takathur (Arabic: التكاثر, "The Rivalry in world increase") is the 102nd surah of the Quran. It is a Meccan surah of 8 verses, in juz 30, on page 600 of the 604-page Madina mushaf.

Surah At-Takathur warns against being distracted by competition in worldly increase until one visits the grave.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. أَلۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ

    1

    Alhakumu alttakathuru

  2. حَتَّىٰ زُرۡتُمُ ٱلۡمَقَابِرَ

    Hatta zurtumu almaqabira

  3. كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ

    Kalla sawfa taAAlamoona

  4. ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ

    Thumma kalla sawfa taAAlamoona

  5. كَلَّا لَوۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ عِلۡمَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ

    Kalla law taAAlamoona AAilma alyaqeeni

  6. لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ

    Latarawunna aljaheema

  7. ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيۡنَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ

    Thumma latarawunnaha AAayna alyaqeeni

  8. ثُمَّ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ

    Thumma latusalunna yawmaithin AAani alnnaAAeemi
