Surah Al-Humazah (Arabic: الهمزة, "The Traducer") is the 104th surah of the Quran. It is a Meccan surah of 9 verses, in juz 30, on page 601 of the 604-page Madina mushaf.

Surah Al-Humazah warns against slander, backbiting, and hoarding wealth with arrogance.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. وَيۡلٞ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٖ لُّمَزَةٍ

    Waylun likulli humazatin lumazatin

  2. ٱلَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالٗا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ

    Allathee jamaAAa malan waAAaddadahu

  3. يَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخۡلَدَهُۥ

    3

    Yahsabu anna malahu akhladahu

  4. كَلَّاۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِي ٱلۡحُطَمَةِ

    Kalla layunbathanna fee alhutamati

  5. وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحُطَمَةُ

    Wama adraka ma alhutamatu

  6. نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُوقَدَةُ

    6

    Naru Allahi almooqadatu

  7. ٱلَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةِ

    7

    Allatee tattaliAAu AAala alafidati

  8. إِنَّهَا عَلَيۡهِم مُّؤۡصَدَةٞ

    lnnaha AAalayhim musadatun

  9. فِي عَمَدٖ مُّمَدَّدَةِۭ

    9

    Fee AAamadin mumaddadatin
